Summer 2012 Internship Program


ABI, an award-winning business-to-business marketing public relations firm, is looking for talented and enthusiastic interns to join our New York City based team this summer. Interns will be given a unique opportunity to develop his or her public relations skills by assisting with the execution of client programs. He/she will gain exposure to areas such as media relations, press release and article development, event planning and internal strategy sessions.

Summer internships generally run from late May through mid-August. A limited number of paid opportunities are offered each semester. Students seeking to earn university credit for their internship – and not secure a paid position – are also welcome to apply.


Candidates should have previous internship experience and exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong experience or interest in media relations is a plus. The right person will have a professional, confident presence and business style.

Candidates will need to be based in the New York City area for the entire length of the internship. Housing is not provided, or paid for, by ABI.
